Daniel G Altman

Daniel G. Altman currently serves as Senior Counsel for Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC, where in addition to overseeing outside litigation counsel, he tries case as first-chair counsel and represents the company in appeals.  He also serves on the company’s Compliance Committee and advises the business and operation units on risk exposure and avoidance. Mr. Altman has tried approximately thirty cases to jury, nearly all as first chair. He was formerly a partner at two law firms: Shrull Altman LLP, an insurance defense and commercial litigation firm, and Marx, Altman & Johnson, a general practice law firm, with an emphasis on trial representation. Mr. Altman received his law degree from the University of Kentucky in 1995, after graduating summa cum laude from The College of the Ozarks.  Mr. Altman resides in Midlothian, Texas with his wife and three children, where is an active member of the community serving with numerous civic and charitable organizations.
