PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Dr. Hawkins has served as the Assistant Pastor at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, under Dr. Anthony T. Evans, Senior Pastor. In his 29 year relationship with OCBF, he ministered in every capacity. His pastoral duties included preaching, leadership training/development, counseling, and teaching. As the founder of Metro Discipling Ministries, he has spoken at conferences on topics that include, Marriage and Family and Leadership Training, specializing in “LEADERSHIP SEMINARS” in Texas, New Jersey, Florida, and the Bahamas. He is presently serving as the President/CEO of Southern Bible Institute & College in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Hawkins is married to his best friend, Shirley. They are the parents of Martin, Jr. and Melissa.
